Our Favorite Place!

My wife and I visit Sandy Shore every summer, usually multiple times. We love it there! It has truly become our home away from home.

Stephanie, the hotel manager, is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet and truly cares about her guests. She goes above and beyond to ensure that we always have great time on our weekends away!

If you love falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach, having the sand just steps from your hotel door, restaurants a short walk down the beach, and a beach bar on premises… then this may just be your favorite place too!

You may see some negative reviews on here (noise by other guests or “my room wasn’t updated enough”), but these things are bound to happen anywhere. And if you are someone who needs perfection in order to be happy, then go stay at the casino and enjoy the 30 minute drive to the beach. I on the other-hand, will simply stroll out of my room at The Sandy Shore, grab a seat at the beach bar and enjoy the reason we all go to the beach in the first place… the sun, sand and salty air. 🙂

Sun, Sand, waves, Family: Best Times on Eastern Coastline

Sun and sand on shore describes it all! My family and I stayed at the Sandy Shore Motel recently, and we were greeted with a wonderful host and staff and room, perfect weather, the beach, and beautiful times of relating. OH! Did I mention the beach? It’s gorgeous! Prime spot to take in the waves. Nighttime offers fire and s’mores for the kids while the adults can drink adult beverages and chat. Around the fire, awesome conversation with folks from all around the world. Five+ stars! I’d never be a stranger to this special place. Perfection on one of the most beautiful spots on Eastern coastline. I highly recommend. Come solo or gather your troops. You won’t regret it! Go and experience tan lines and memories 🙂

We spend time here every Summer and frequently recommend to friends/family. The rooms are always clean and well stocked. The staff is great and always available. We especially love the bar that is literally “on the beach”.

Sandy Shore is Awesome!

We have stayed at Sandy Shore Motel for many years and we LOVE it! The location is great, the staff is more than accommodating. The rooms are clean and quaint. I cannot recommend this motel enough! The private beach is steps from your room…. and oh! The bar on the beach is always an awesome time with great people.

Very Friendly Staff and Very Relaxing Atmosphere

We just spent 2 nights at the Sandy Shore Motel and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and the owner (Gene) made sure we were enjoying our vacation. The room was beautiful and having a beach bar is a plus. We loved being right on the beach and never had to move our car once we checked in. We had everything we needed right in the area and were able to walk to the restaurants on the beach.All of the rooms are ocean view so that is another plus. We were there during the week so it was quiet and relaxing. Overall, a terrific place to stay if you just want to relax on the beach.

My Home in Rhode Island

I’ve stayed here the past 2 years for my birthday with a group pf friends.I refuse to stay anywhere else. I completely elt at home by the owner (Gene) and the manager (Stephanie). Great rooms, all with eyes looking at the ocean. Amazing bar on the beach and a fire pit at night to warm up the night. Sounds like a commercial but I just experienced it! Without a doubt, The Sandy Shore Motel is my home in Rhode Island!

Great Weekend Away!

My Boyfriend and I decided to book this hotel at the VERY last minute on a Friday and I am so glad we did! The staff was so welcoming and helpful. Anything we needed!

Our favorite part was the fire pit on the beach and making friends with some of the locals at their outdoor bar. Everyone was very nice. We booked another weekend there about a month after and it was exactly the same service we had before! Great location, great staff and highly recommended for a long weekend away on the beach! As for the rooms, we did not spend much time in there because we were enjoying the beach and being outside so we did not care too much for how it looked. The rooms were very clean and beachy though. The owner (Gene) was very pleasant, as he introduced himself and made sure our stay was well worth it, and it was! We’ll be back!
